Do you ever hear yourself thinking I want it NOW . When we decide that we really want something, the desire is so strong that often we want it NOW. We don t want to have to wait for it. So we tell ourselves and we tell the universe, Okay, I am ready. I want this now. And then if it doesn t happen immediately, we might say something like, Where is it. I am ready. Why isn t it here yet. The problem is that when we want something badly and we want it NOW, it is a good sign that we have gotten attached, i.e., I have to have it now, and nothing else will do. Life is hectic. It seems like, if we re not actively doing something, then we re on our way to the next thing. There is laundry to do, dinner to prepare, work piling up on your desk and you re already late for your son s soccer practice. How in the world are you supposed to find time for yourself. Yet at the same time you know that you will be a much better spouse, mother, friend and employee if your life is in balance and you take time to relax and rejuvenate. Delegate We are all limited to 24 hours in any given day. Since you can t get extra time, you need to free up a few hours a day by delegating some of your tasks.
